Its weird, in this color, and with the more subtle grille, it does look a bit better than these usually do from certain angles. But, from others, just as bad as all of them.

They do sell a shit ton of those. Its a good example of how you can still make money with a terrible  idea, as long as you market it correctly and it strikes a cord with a large enough part of the population. Like the Pet Rock.

$3800 is still too much to buy something you really don’t like just for the hell of it, there are better cars available for that price.

I wonder why they picked the Thunderbird for the basis, the roofline and glass house are so badly suited for the ‘50s styling. A Crown Victoria might have worked better, proportionally and the doors would have been slightly closer to a shoebox feel. But, Boomers hate anything with more than 2 doors - unless they’re buying a new car, in which case its anything BUT a 2-door, weird contrast.

Waaaay too much. $1200 Canadian and maybe I’ll grimace at it in my driveway. At that price they can get buried in it.
